JOHN W. HURT
Executive Director

Mr. Hurt has served as Executive Director since 2011. A public housing professional, consultant, and former real estate broker since 1984, he has held executive positions at several housing agencies around the country, including the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Detroit Housing Commission, the Housing Authority of Atlanta, and the Middletown Public Housing Agency. He has also worked as a consultant across the country, including Puerto Rico. Mr. Hurt is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Degree in Urban Studies and a Master of Science Degree in Project Management from Post University. He holds certifications in real estate and public housing management.
RAYMOND WELLS
Operations Manager
Mr. Wells has served as Operations Manager since 2019. He brings decades of experience in construction, real estate and community development. He began his career in Detroit working on major commercial projects prior to founding his own firm, which he operated for over 30 years. Since 2000, Mr. Wells has also served as a licensed Real Estate Appraiser and Building inspector, completing inspections for HUD and the City of Riviera Beach. Aside from serving the Riviera Beach Housing Authority, he consults with Homeowners Associations throughout Palm Beach County on designs and remodeling projects. Mr. Wells is recognized for his deep industry knowledge, professionalism and long-standing commitment to improving the communities he serves.
GINA CELENTANO
Administrative Assistant
Gina joined our Riviera Beach Housing Authority family in 2023. She brings administrative professionalism with her experience in management, operations and client services. Gina spent ten years managing a high volume dental practice where she oversaw daily operations, scheduling & accounts receivables. She now applies her organization, attention to detail & leadership skills in property management at Water Glades Condominiums on Singer Island. Gina is a Riviera Beach local and grew up in Palm Beach County, graduating from Palm Beach Central High School and attending Palm Beach State College. Known for her dedication, organization and professionalism, she brings reliability and a strong work ethic to every role.
